| EXPERIENCE Our engineers have provided VOC control advice and engineering for printing applications for 14 years. We have consulted on emission controls for plastic and paper web fed offset presses, sheet fed rotogravure presses, and sheet fed coating presses. A variety of dryers and drying techniques have been included in the emission control projects. This includes between-colors, tunnel, steam heated, hot oil heated, and UV cured dryers. The most important phase in planning VOC emission control project is devising an air handling system for exhaust air, recirculation air, and make up air. This should be done so that the exhaust air is minimized by recirculation and the make up air is properly injected. Done properly the capital cost will be minimized and the work environment improved. We are very experienced in this art and science. In addition Hasbrouck Engineering is experienced in all of the VOC concentration and destruction technologies. These include condensation, rotary concentrators, recuperative thermal oxidizer, catalytic oxidizers, RTO’s, and biological oxidizers.
