 | This Aroma Chemistry technology allows us to take the foul smelling turpentine from paper mills and convert it into the elements of the rose fragrance. Oils pressed from plants and flowers have similar chemical structure. Many of them are terpenes, a ten-carbon class of molecules. With small changes in this molecule, the odor therefore changes. These changes are from pine to pine oil, rose, lemon / lime, lilac, eucalyptus, orange, menthol, lavender, or licorice. The products are esoteric with specifications that are verbal descriptions of the target fragrance instead of a chemical specification. |
