| EXPERIENCES Hasbrouck Engineering has worked with sawmills, particleboard, OSB, and plywood plants to solve VOC and particulate emission control problems. This experience includes attendance at industry workshops, regular reviews of the capabilities of the major vendors, BACT studies and real plant projects. In VOC emission control the most important method of cost control is to minimize the volume of air to be treated without effecting work environment, product quality or capacity. This involves safely maximizing reuse of air exhaust and control of air intake and exhaust volumes. Hasbrouck Engineering is experienced in the art and science of minimizing exhaust air volume. We are also experienced with wet electrostatic participators, baghouse filters, cyclone separators, adsorption/deadsorption concentrators, RTO’s, catalytic oxidizers, recuperative thermal oxidizers, and biological oxidizers. SERVICES We can provide the board plants and lumber mills general consulting service, troubling-shooting, process design, equipment and piping specifications, and project management in the various aspects of particulate and VOC emission control. Some examples are given below:
